Speeching is a choreographic project looking at political speeches both as a performance and as embodied activity. It is about finding ways to engage with political speeches, not just with our eyes, ears and brains, but by using all of our bodies.

Speeching will be using the sounds, structures, meaning and movement of speeches as a starting point and by adopting the archetypal political performance, we will ask questions about who speaks for us and to us.

Idea by Hamish MacPherson. Developed by Vicky Frayard, Colm Gallagher, Sarah Gero, Steph Horak, Hamish MacPherson, Matthew Percy, Eva Charlotte Percy, Amaara Raheem, Martin Shead.
